Pie the Principal!
On Tuesday, October 1st we had our first PBIS Assembly. Students had the opportunity to save up their PRIDE tickets to "Pie the Principal"! There were 20 winners! That's a lot of pie. The PTA had 5 students earn the "Silly Stringing the Principal" incentive. They all reached the level 3 goal within the Mumkins fundraiser.
This month students can earn the opportunity to have Extra Recess (30 tickets), become the Principal for a Day (40 tickets) or Challenge a Teacher to a Dance-Off (40 tickets). The Principal for a Day incentive would be approximately two hours, taking place during their non-instructional time, very beginning of the day and end of the day. The Dance-Off Assembly will take place on Thursday, November 7th.
Kinsner Football Night
What an incredible night for Kinsner Football! Prior to the game, our teachers set up a temporary tattoo and face painting station right outside the stadium. Our Mustangs were greeted with an enthusiastic tunnel of cheering kids and families as they took the field under crisp, clear autumn skies. The atmosphere was electric, with high-energy fans filling the stands. It was a sea of pink as students showed their support and school spirit.
The team carried that momentum onto the field, building an early lead and maintaining their dominance throughout the game. In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, our Mustangs secured a resounding victory over Shaker Heights with a final score of 50-0! Thank you to all the families who came out to support our players and make this night truly unforgettable.
Fall Parade & Party
Thursday, October 31st
Costume Guidance:
The Fall party is on Thursday, 10/31. Students may bring their costume (or part of it) to school if they wish. They will have only a few minutes to dress at the start of the party. The costume needs to be something that your child can quickly slip on over his/her clothes. (Students will not be going to the restroom to change). No masks, hair color, face paint, makeup, or weapons are allowed at school. Please leave all extra accessories at home so they don’t get lost. Thank you for your cooperation.
