Class of 2027
A Message From Your Grade Level Team
Class of 2027 Families,
Welcome back from Spring Break! We hope you and your student were able to take time to rest, recharge and spend time with one another.
Preparation for the Mid-High School Reflection (MHSR) is here!
The Mid High School Reflection (MHSR) project is an opportunity for 11th grade students to reflect on their high school experience. Through the reflection process students will examine their growth within Helix's School-Wide Learner Outcomes (SLO's) and will have the opportunity to research post-secondary options.
Most of the work for this will be completed through Advisory activities for the remainder of the semester. The MHSR is scheduled to take place the first week of September. We plan on hosting a family information night within the next couple weeks. More information to come!
We appreciate families supporting students during this time as they prepare to check off this important Helix Graduation Requirement.

Student Highlight of the Month
Our student highlights for the month of March are Dylan Cruz Alvarez and Norris Jarmon
Ms. Bojorquez is proud to recognize Dylan as Student of the Month for his exceptional help in the Attendance Office. Dylan has gone above and beyond, showing great responsibility and a willingness to assist others. His dedication and positive attitude have made a significant impact on the office’s operations, and he is truly deserving of this recognition. Thank you for your hard work, Dylan!
Here is what Ms. Soto has to say about Norris. I usually think all of our students are "Student of the Month" material, but this month I'm excited to recognize Norris in particular. Norris stood out to me for his outstanding growth and involvement on campus this past semester. When I recommended that he explore a new opportunity I thought would be helpful to him, he approached the opportunity with an open mind and a willingness to step outside his comfort zone. Not only has he embraced this experience as a valuable learning opportunity, but he has also gone above and beyond to support and uplift his peers. His dedication, kindness, and commitment to making a positive impact truly make him a standout student. Congratulations, Norris!
