October 22nd - 1:30 Early Dismissal for Parent/Teacher Conferences

October 25th - No School - Teacher Comp Day

October 31st - Halloween Parties at 1:30 and Parade to follow at 3:00

By highlighting and celebrating students' positive actions, you encourage them and their peers to continue demonstrating those behaviors.

Nice work!

Being recognized publicly for good behavior can boost a student's self-esteem and promote a positive self-image. When students see that good behavior is regularly acknowledged, it creates consistency in expectations and reinforces school-wide norms.

Positive referrals contribute to a school environment that focuses on growth, encouragement, and positivity, fostering a stronger sense of community.

PBIS Update

Set Goals

We are working towards 4,000 PBIS tickets. Currently Pekin Elementary has almost 3,000 and is getting close to their next goal.

Earn Tickets

Students are doing a great job of earning tickets for following the Pekin Pride Expectations. Teachers give specific praise to students who are following these school wide behavior expectations.

Reward ALL Students

We are a team and we will be working together at Pekin Elementary for these positive behavior rewards. Our next reward will be lunch outside! Hopefully we can celebrate soon when we have reached our goal.
