Homestead families,
This week we are adding to our team of teachers. Ms. Derasaugh will be our new third grade teacher. She is a great addition to our team and will bring some relief to our oversized classes. As we start week three of the school year we are off to a great start. I want to remind everyone of our 7:45 start time. I see several families coming in at the last minute. This can unintentionally cause a feeling of anxiety or worry in your child. I wanted to remind you that the school is open at 7:15 AM. Students are able to purchase breakfast and eat in the cafeteria or sit and visit with friends till 7:35 AM when we release to class. Thank you for a great first two weeks of school!
