2nd Annual Culture Night!
Focused Note Taking
Back to School Night!
Open House Night 9/17 @ 6pm
- Parents and GuardianParents and Guardians will meet in the auditorium at 6pm
- Period 1 Teachers will provide you with your schedule
- You will visit each classroom for 10 minutes
- Teachers will share a brief presentation about their course
- If your student has a study hall visit the school store and the library
- Ask Your Student for their Period 1 Classroom Number
Multi-Tiered System of Support
The Brandywine School District and Mount Pleasant High School have partnered with Character Strong to provide social and emotional learning for sutdents in grades 6-12. Teachers atMount will provide students with one lesson a month related to social emotional wellness. The topics covered will be as follows:
- Building Community
- From Bystander to Advocate
- Staying tru to you, putting your values into action
- Stress and Coping
- Crating Well-Being Habits
- Forgiveness
- Building Empathy
- Mental Health
All students in all grades will participate in a 30-45 minute lesson with their classroom teacher. Our goal is to reinforce students sense of belonging and well being.

4 or Less Attendance Campaign
For the 2024-2025 school year, the Brandywine School District is adopting the 4 Or Less = Success school attendance campaign to promote good student attendance. Good attendance means coming to school on time and staying all day, every day, which is key to every child’s success. After all, students must be present to learn!

Student Insurance
The Brandywine School District provides families with informaiton to purchases supplemental insurance in addition to any primary coverage a family may aleady have. If a family chooses to purchase the supplemental policy, it would cover copays or deductibles that the primary coverage would not pay. This includes incidents that may occur while playing a sport or while in school. The policy covers accident and sports insurance combined. Where is the Bus App
Beginning the 2024-2025 school year, all Brandywine School District buses will be equipped with the WheresTheBus Barcode Combo Reader, which requires students to enter or scan their student ID upon entering the bus. This will ensure consistent student identification whether they have the ID card with them or not. Parents can receive an immediate push notification when their child enters the bus.

Requirements for Visitors
All visitors are required to present a state issued ID or driver's license to be scanned through our swipe system before entering the building. Please have your ID ready upon entrance to the main office if you have a scheduled meeting.
