Senior Serve Day
On Thursday, April 10th, 14 seniors from Central High School visited Weaver for Senior Serve Day. These seniors visited different classrooms, ate lunch, and had recess with students. It was a great day for both Weaver students and our visitors! Thank you Central High School and to the visiting seniors for making this a great day for our students.
STEAM Night
Thank you to all of the Weaver Families who came to STEAM night. We enjoyed getting to connect with you and hope that you enjoyed the activities. We want to give a special shout out to Ms. Ebert who planned an amazing night of fun! Also, a big thanks to OTC for partnering with us and providing some pretty awesome demonstrations.
Weaver PBIS Matrix
As we wind down this school year, and with the end of year testing coming up, it is extremely important to help our students stay focused on following school-wide expectations. Our PBIS Matrix, like the one posted below, helps to remind students of those expectations and can be found in all areas of our building. Weaver Wildcats know and practice everyday how to be safe, respectful, responsible, and motivated.

- If you know that your family cannot attend the game, please send your tickets back so that we can distribute them to families who may need more tickets.
- Hammons Field is a cashless stadium.
- Hammons Field has a clear bag policy. Only clear bags are allowed into the stadium with the exception of medical bags and diaper bags.
FAQs:
- Can families purchase additional tickets? Yes! For those interested in purchasing additional tickets to a game, the Cardinals will be offering a group discount, which is up to $3 off the regular ticket price. PLEASE call the box office at (417) 863-2143 to purchase your tickets. When calling, identify which school you’re with so box office staff can do their best to get your seats close to your group (seats together cannot be guaranteed).
- If a family cannot use their tickets, can we distribute them to other staff/families? Yes, please collect any tickets that families and/or staff do not intend to use and distribute them as you see fit. We want the tickets to be utilized and the seats to be full the night of the games.
- Will there be any discounts or specials for concessions? No. However, the Cardinals have weekly promotions which include: $2 Hot Dogs and Bratwursts on Tuesday nights and free ice cream sandwiches before the games on Sundays.
- Is there free parking? Free parking can be found along Walnut Street or at OTC. The lot across the street from the stadium has $10 parking.

Testing Focus: Tips and Strategies for Parents and Students
As we enter into a time of state and district assessments, we want to provide some tips and strategies for both parents and students. MAP and Galileo Testing will start the week of April 21st.
Attendance Matters!
Make sure your student is at school on testing days (unless they are sick). This ensures they will get to take their test alongside their peers in their classroom.
Sleep is Important!
A good night's sleep will help your student think more clearly during the test. It will also make it easier to deal with test-taking stress and anxiety.
Tech down!
Not using technology directly before bedtime allows your brain and eyes a chance to rest. It also allows your body a chance to settle down for better sleep.
