Principal's Weekly Update
Dear Pentucket Families,
It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the second semester! Students worked hard to finish their assignments and prepare for finals, and now it’s time to focus on what’s ahead.
Thank you again to all of the families who took the time to come to the 8th Grade Gulf of Maine Presentations. It was great to see the school bustling with so many visitors!
We’re also looking forward to the Middle School Dance this Friday night. These events are always a lot of fun, and we appreciate everyone who helps make them run smoothly.
As the cold weather continues, a quick reminder: please make sure students are dressing warmly when they leave the house. Sweatshirts alone won’t cut it on these frosty mornings, so encourage layers, coats, and hats. And while we’re at it, please remind your students to stick to water during the school day—no energy drinks or Dunkins'!
Thank you for your support
Sincerely,
Brenda Erhardt
Pentucket MHS Principal

Important Information for 8th Grade Whittier Applicants
Mrs. Sanford & Mrs. Mastone will be holding interview prep sessions for students who applied to Whittier Tech on Thursday, January 30th and Friday, January 31st in the library during last period. Students with last names A-Ma should attend on Thursday (1/30), and students with last names Mc-Z should attend on Friday (1/31). While interview prep sessions are not mandatory, we highly encourage students to join us!
Representatives from Whittier will be at PRMHS the following week on Monday, February 3rd to conduct interviews. Interviews are slated to take place all day (with the exception of lunch time). If your student applied to Whittier, it is important to be present the day of interviews. Students who miss the interviews will need to coordinate another interview day/time with Whittier directly. Representatives will return to wrap up interviews on Tuesday morning (February 4th) only if they do not have the opportunity to get through all students who are present on Monday.
Please feel free to reach out to your child's counselor with any questions or concerns!
