📝 Cognia Testing
Our Freshmen and Junior classes will be taking the VTCAP/Cognia testing in the upcoming weeks. Freshmen will test in Math and English, while Juniors will test in Science. We recently held brief assemblies to explain the importance of the tests as well as set some motivational goals as we approach the testing dates. Please feel free to review the presentations below and each out if you have any questions about the testing.
📰 The Occasional Slater - Student Newspaper
We are very proud of our student-driven newspaper. This is an amazing opportunity for students to sharpen their skills, express their opinions, and find their collective voice. THIS LINK is the digital version of The Occasional Slater (HERE is the PDF version in case you cannot open the digital version). Hard copies of the newspaper are in our main lobby (while they last).

🎡FHU Career Fair
FHU students will be attending the 4th Annual Career Fair at Fair Haven Union Middle & High School on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 9am to 11:30am. The goal has always been to provide our students with opportunities that they may not have otherwise realized as well as to introduce them to fields that they may never have considered.
Last year we had 47 companies RSVP for our career fair. This year we are hoping to surpass our vendor attendance and reach 50 companies!
🎓Cap and Gowns
It's that time of year that we need to get Senior cap and gowns ordered. To do this, seniors need to grab an order sheet from Jackie Phillips. The cost is only $25. Please remind students to stop into the office as soon as possible and grab the form.
