LMS Weekly Newsletter: February 10-14

Hello Timberwolf FamiLEE!
Hello, Timberwolf FamiLees,
We’ve got an exciting week ahead at Lee Middle, filled with basketball playoffs, spirit night, and Club Day! Let’s dive into the latest updates.
🏀 Lady Timberwolves in the Semi-Finals!
Our Lady Timberwolves basketball team has had an incredible season, and they’re fighting for a spot in the championship! They take on Smokey Road Middle in the semi-finals this Tuesday, 2/11, at 4:30 PM—right here at home! Let’s pack the stands and cheer them on!
🛼 Valentine’s Spirit Night at Starlite Skating Rink!
Looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Join us for Spirit Night at Starlite Skating Rink in Thomas Crossroads this Friday, 2/14, from 6:00-9:00 PM. Bring the family, lace up your skates, and support Lee Middle while having a blast!
📊 Progress Report Grades Are Posted!
Parents, progress report grades are now available on Infinite Campus. Please take a moment to check your child’s grades and encourage them to stay on track as we move forward in the semester.
📚 Club Day & Work Completion – Friday, 2/14
This Friday is Club Day for students who have no missing assignments. If your child has work to complete, they’ll have an opportunity to catch up in the cafeteria instead of attending clubs. Help them check Infinite Campus and make sure they’re all set to participate!
📢 Georgia School Climate Survey – Your Input Matters!
This was included in last week’s newsletter, but if you haven’t already completed the 2024-2025 Georgia School Climate Survey, please take a moment to do so. This survey is required by the GaDOE and plays a key role in meeting our CCRPI criteria. Your feedback helps us gather important data to continuously improve our school. I truly appreciate your time and effort in helping us create the best learning environment possible.

🕺 7th Grade Dance – A Huge Success!
Our 7th graders had an absolute blast at their dance on Friday! Not only was it a fun-filled night, but our students were also on their best behavior. It was a fantastic way to celebrate, and we’re so proud of them for making it a night to remember!
☀️ February Break – Enjoy the Week Off!
Next week is February Break, which means no school all week! We hope you enjoy this time with your kiddos—whether it’s a fun getaway, extra time to relax at home, or just soaking up some quality family time. They’ve been working hard, and we know they’ll come back recharged and ready to finish the semester strong! Wishing you all a fantastic week off—make some memories, have some fun, and we’ll see everyone back at Lee on Monday, 2/24!
Let’s keep the momentum going and make this another amazing week at Lee Middle!

STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES
Calling All 6th Grade Parents! The 6th grade students will be first! You are cordially invited to your child's STUDENT-LED CONFERENCE. As a school, we are committed to the "student voice". This initiative allows students to take charge of their academic goals and accomplishments. All 6th grade parents will receive an invitation (between February 2 - February 9) to come and listen to their child's presentation and see them shine and present what they have been working on for quite some time during their Extended Learning Time (ELT). When you receive the google invite invitation , please accept it if you are able to attend so that we can plan accordingly.
Thank you as always for your support and trusting us with your students!
