Bordeaux Elementary School

Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour of rest on Sunday morning. I know that I did.

Thank you to everyone who was able to come enjoy our annual Fall Harvest Carnival on Friday evening. We all loved seeing the students, and many parents, dressed up and enjoying themselves. Special thanks to our PTSO for coordinating such a fun event and for all the volunteers who helped decorate and undecorate our hallways. Thanks to our own Mr. Wirzbicki for being our staff liaison with the PTSO and to Mrs. Wirzbicki for helping us by bringing some high school volunteers down from Cedar High School. Finally, thank you to our teachers, para educators, and their family members for donating a Friday night to ensure this great event takes place. I love being part of such a great community as Bordeaux’s.

If your student participated in the Fall fundraiser, item pick-up will be on November 5th from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. An informational flyer was sent home last week.

This Monday and Tuesday, Ballet NW will once again be coming to Bordeaux to teach students about dance and movement. They have come to Shelton schools the past few years and it’s been a fun tradition for our students. Please see the attached informational flyer on the follow-up email.

This is always a great time of year as the calendar starts to fill up and the holidays are right around the corner. As always, it’s a great week to be a Bordeaux Bulldog!
