We started the scheduling process for the 2025/2026 school year today in our ROCK Periods, where students watched a voice-over video. In addition, I wanted to share a couple of important dates for you to be aware of as we move through the month of January. Rest assured, our counselors will be working with all of our students to ensure that schedules are completed and submitted on time. I have also shared the link to the DCS scheduling website. • Week of January 27-31- SMS Counselors meet with 6th graders to share scheduling information

• February 7 - Course Planning sheets and selections in Infinite Campus are DUE (Class choices will be considered final)

• January 14 - Scioto and Coffman counselors visit Sells to meet with 8th graders

• January 15-17 - SMS Counselors meet with 8th graders to share scheduling information and teachers advise students on class choices

• January 17 - Infinite Campus Academic Planning tool opens to enter course requests

• January 23 - Rising 9th grade Welcome Nights at high schools

• Scioto 6:30 - 8pm

• Coffman 6:30 - 8pm

• January 31 - Course Planning sheets and selections in Infinite Campus are DUE

DCHS and DSHS 8th grade Welcome Night is planned for Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the PAC. Coffman and Scioto will be welcoming 8th grade parents with students who will be attending the respective high schools beginning in August 2025. During the Welcome Night, you will learn about graduation requirements, course descriptions and sequencing, and an introduction to the Coffman and Scioto community.
