Last week, our students participated in a gratitude activity, and it was very powerful to hear them express the things in their life that mean the most. This week, we will be introducing our Winter Wishes program. This is an opportunity for students to wish for something that helps them care for themselves and others. We look forward to spreading gratitude and generosity in the upcoming weeks.

Come join us for an evening of entertainment on Monday, November 18th at 7 PM in the LCN cafeteria to find out! Watch some awesome singers, dancers, and musicians perform their hearts out for our celebrity staff judges! Entry is $5 cash, and concessions will be available for purchase from the school store, courtesy of DECA! We hope to see you there!

Join Crusader Nation Theatre at our next drama club meeting to hear about upcoming auditions for our musical production of Matilda, as well as other important club updates! The meeting will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 2:30PM in the LGI! Join our Remind by texting @LCNCNT to 81010 for all updates!

School will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break on November 27-29. Classes will resume on December 2nd.

LCN is looking to recognize the service of our former graduates and needs help. Please click the link to complete a form if you have a family member or friend that graduated from LCN and has served or is currently serving in the military. Please share the link with anyone that you know could help us with creating a Wall of Honor to decorate a showcase in our hallway with the faces of graduates who are now serving our country.

ATTENTION SENIORS: The deadline for senior portrait submissions for the yearbook is quickly approaching! Photos must be submitted by Thursday, December 12th!

• If your photos were taken by Kaiser studios, they will take care of your photo upload and you do not need to complete any extra steps.
• If you used a studio other than Kaiser, please follow the instructions for uploading your photo through Yearbook Plus by Thursday, December 12th! Reach out to Ms. Sanders in room 226 if you have any questions! ***Please note – if you tried logging in before and did not receive a validation code, the problem has been fixed. Please try again!!

Cap and gowns can still be ordered through Jostens. Please refer to the information page below for specific details and instructions for ordering.

Select sports tryouts continue this week. In order to participate, please be sure your student-athlete has a physical on file with us dated after April 15, 2024. To improve efficiency and ensure safety of data, we are collecting our physicals on BigTeams. Please use the registration link below to upload your student's information and physical. We have also placed a link with instructions on how to register. This information is also on our LCN Athletics Website.

Girls' Basketball Tryouts are scheduled for 11/18 - 11/20

Freshmen - 3 pm

JV - 5 pm

Varsity - 6 pm

Boys' Swim Team

Any boy interested in joining the boys swim team is welcome to join. There are no tryouts. Coach Mike only asks for commitment. First week of practices: 11/25 & 11/26 from 2:40 – 5:00.
