Dear Fox Families:
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a great holiday and a wonderful break. Please see below for a recap of the past few weeks and some highlights of of the holiday fun going on throughout the building. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!
Spanish Club Fundraiser-Mrs. Seliga's Spanish Club did some fundraising and chose to sponsor four families for the holiday. See the pictures below of our students doing some shopping for these families in need.
ESports Rocket League-Fox High's Rocket League team won 2nd place in the state of Missouri in the Missouri Scholastic Esports Federation's (MOSEF) Fall Brawl 2024. They beat Republic in the semi-finals and suffered their first loss of the year at the hands of St. Dominic High School in the finals. Way to go Warriors!!
Girls Basketball at Mizzou Arena-Our girls basketball team was invited to compete in one of the most elite basketball tournaments in the state, The Norm Stewart Classic Invitational @ Mizzou Arena. Although our girls ended up on the losing side of the battle to Osage, Izzy Frissell was the game's leading score with 20 points. Playing at Mizzou Arena was a very cool experience for our girls. Way to fight, Warriors!!
EOC Celebration Field Trip-Slick City-Students that scored Proficient or Advanced on at least one EOC test last year were eligible to go on a fun field trip to Slick City Action Park. The kids all had a blast.
Choir Concert-Our students put on a lovely holiday choir concert which I was fortunate to be able to attend. See below for some video from the show. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the Jazz show but I heard it was amazing too. Below, I do have some music from our Jazz students who played for our kids during lunch.
DECA-Every year, DECA does DECA THE HALLS holiday door decoration contest and their holiday window Marketing displays. See below for some highlights of those activities.
