District News
Wisconsin Wayfinder
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has launched a special service to help families with children who have delays, disabilities, special health care needs, or mental health conditions. It's called Wisconsin Wayfinder: Children’s Resource Network. This service includes a website and a toll-free number (see below) that families can use to get in touch with real people who are experts in helping children with special needs. These experts, called children’s resource guides, will assist families in finding the important services and support their children need.
This service is really important for families with children who have special health care needs. It will help them find the right resources, especially right after they receive a diagnosis. The children’s resource guides are dedicated to personally helping families on this journey. To read the full new release click here.
To get in contact with Wisconsin Wayfinder, visit their website, or call the toll-free number at 877-WiscWay (877)-947-2929
