Shorts are OPTIONAL and may be worn from August through October 31st and from April 1st until the end of the school year. Pants must be worn from November 1 until March 31st.

Our new St. Rita water bottles and sweatshirts are now available for purchase at the school office. Water bottles are priced at $10, and sweatshirts are $18. Be sure to stop by during school hours to get yours while supplies last!

Mr. Hughes was born and raised in Louisville, graduating from Waggener High School. After graduating, he moved to Polson, Montana, for eight years, attending Grand Canyon University for a Bachelor's Degree in Biology in Secondary Education. Mr. Hughes moved back to Louisville this summer, now attends WGU, and is finishing his degree. This is his first year as a teacher. Mr. Hughes has a family history with St. Rita, as two sisters and three cousins graduated from St. Rita.

Mr. Hughes loves sports. He is a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Cubs. He played baseball from the time he was 7 through 20 while attending college. Mr. Hughes has a 5-year-old nephew that he helps raise with his mother and hopes to raise his nephew to love sports the same way he does. Mr. Hughes's nephew started Kindergarten this year, so they share a similar experience with starting a new job and school during the same year.

Mr. Hughes wanted to be a teacher because of the influence a teacher can have on students. When Mr. Hughes was in high school, he formed a strong connection with his biology teacher, and they are still very close today, almost ten years later. Mr. Hughes understands that sometimes students struggle with school, they may not like it or get too discouraged when they may not understand a lesson on the first attempt. Mr. Hughes wants to be there for students who struggle, influence them, and always support them.

3rd and 4th Grade Boys Basketball

First practice will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd at 4:30pm. Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6pm. 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Boys Basketball

First practice will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd at 5:30pm. Practices will be Mondays 7-9pm and Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm. 4th-8th Grade Archery

Students participating archery will start practice on Tuesday, October 29th from 6-7:15pm. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The season runs from October through March. 5th-8th Cheerleaders

Monday, October 28th at 630pm in the gym there will be a parents meeting. We will be introducing the new coaches, discussing practice times, uniform, and fees.

El Sr. Hughes nació y creció en Louisville, donde se graduó en la secundaria Waggener. Porristas "Cheerleaders" de 5to a 8vo grado

Lunes, 28 de octubre a las 630pm en el gimnasio habrá una reunión de padres. Presentaremos a los nuevos entrenadores, discutiremos los horarios de práctica, uniforme y cuotas.
