February 21st 2025 Principal's Message
Hello Blevins Families,
It was wonderful to see so many of you at our student-led conferences on Thursday evening. This was our first implementation of this conference style and I'm particularly proud of our students. They worked hard to prepare for this event and were able to express the pride they have in themselves as learners here at Blevins. We also know that providing students with the opportunity to reflect on their progress fosters intrinsic motivation to succeed. We're eager to learn from this first run through and determine how to make it even better in the future! Thanks for your partnership in your child's academic journey.
Please join us for our monthly PTO meeting on Tuesday at 5:30pm. We're always looking for new voices in the conversation.
And as a final exciting note, Blevins' enrollment is growing in the coming school year! Our 6th grade class of students is projected to be the largest we have had in several years. We know that this is because of the commitment of our students to the Bruin culture, the incredible work of our teachers and staff, and your partnership in telling others of your positive experience with Blevins. Thank you! We're excited about the amazing years to come.
Proudly,
Joe Zappa, Principal
