Dear Pilot Families,

What a great week!

Our students started specials this week. They went to the Library with Ms. Seto, PE with Coach Rogers, and VAPA-Dance with Mrs. Dolias. They learned the expectations for each class and are excited for the exciting semester!

We had some hot weather this week and want to remind families to please pack a water bottle with cold water. Later in the newsletter, you will find the TVUSD Hot Weather guidelines.

We hope all of our Pilots have a wonderful weekend and we will see you Monday!

Important Upcoming Dates

Wednesday, 8/28: Modified school day. All grades follow normal schedule 8:50 am-12:55 pm.

Friday, 8/30: Friday Flag Salute on the blacktop. All visitors must sign in at the front office and wear a visitors sticker at all times.

Pauba Valley 8 Keys of Excellence!

This week students students learned about our first key, Integrity.

They discussed Integrity in their Morning Meetings and had classroom visits from Ms. Tara and Ms. Julie to learn more. Be sure to ask them about it!

PTA helps pay for field trips, assemblies, grade level funds, books in the classroom, and more! Joining as a member is not a time commitment, it is just being a voice for our students. If you would like to volunteer at events, we will be reaching out soon with information!

School Entrance Locations

The parking lot loop is not open for arrival and dismissal.

Where does my child enter the school?

TK/Kindergarten students enter at the gate at the front of the school. 1st-5th grade students enter the school through either 1st - 5th gates. See image above for details.

REMINDER:

Wednesdays are modified days. The ENTIRE school is dismissed at 12:55 pm
