It has been a great first week back at RHS! As we settle into the new year, it’s important to remember that the end of Semester 1 is quickly approaching. Finals will begin on Monday, January 22nd. If you have any questions or need additional support, please reach out to your teachers.

Riverside Rock Band Concert

Join us tonight at 7 PM for Riverside Rock Band’s first concert of the year! The concert will take place at the Youth Music Project in West Linn, and admission is free. It promises to be a fantastic show, and we hope to see you there!

Each month we will recognize students who are embodying one of the character traits from the IB learner profile (nominated by one of their teachers). The IB learner profile represents 10 attributes valued by IB schools.

The first edition of The Riverside Gazette will be making its debut on January 15th. This paper will give our readers a snapshot of the Riverside experience as it will cover everything from sports, opinions on worldwide issues, and arts and entertainment which includes music, books, and movies. This paper is a student-lead club and it is still open to new members if any students are interested in joining. We meet in Ms. Abrams' room during lunch on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. You can read the newspaper by clicking on the link that will be provided in the weekly Raptor Report, starting next week, and soon, it will also be accessible through the school website!
