• Details for the first onsite day for NWIOS Students in Grades K - 8
• Information about Picture Day for ALL STUDENTS enrolled in Northwest Indiana Online School.

Students in grades K-8 will be onsite for NWEA, mClass, vision, and hearing testing. Students in grades 4-5-6-7-8 may also participate in the required Body Safety: Child Abuse Prevention Program sponsored by Dunebrook. I am waiting to hear back from our presenter.

Here are reminders for that event:

• Time: 8:15 am -12:15 pm. (Students should arrive at 8:15)

• Location: NWIOS Office and Testing Site is located at the Trojan Learning Center, 601 W Morgan Avenue, Southeast Parking Lot of the former Chesterton Middle School - Door #9

• Bring: Charged iPad, earbuds/headphones, a water bottle, and a snack. For snacks, be mindful of potential food allergies and avoid snacks made with tree nuts, peanuts, etc.

• Students may bring their cell phones, but they will not have access to their phones during testing times.

Here is what you need to know:

• Students who are onsite for testing on this day will have their picture taken.

• Students who are not here will need to make arrangements to attend during the time below.

• School pictures will generate student IDs which students will need to enter Duneland events.

Time:

• Students in Grades K - 8 Anytime, we will take when students arrive for testing.

• Students in Grades 9 through 12, may stop in between 10:00 - 12:00 to have their photo taken.
