Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Bridges Michel. Ms. Michel currently teaches English 1, English 3, and Mythology. She coordinates prom, supervised last year's Spirit Team, reads Extended Essays for IB students, and more! Fellow English teacher Wendy Lucas says, "She's super compassionate and enthusiastic with her students and colleagues alike. Her students love her. I'm so proud of her. She contributes so much to our school."
Attendance Update
Our Attendance Team has partnered up with Handel's Ice Cream, Chick-fil-a and Sonic to give coupons to students who have improved and perfect attendance! We hope that these rewards will be an incentive to keep up the good work and coming to school daily. Thank you to our community partners for making things like this possible at AC Flora!
ACT/SAT Testing Opportunity
In March 2025, your student has the opportunity to take the ACT® or the SAT® at no cost, paid for by the state. The ACT and the SAT are college entrance exams used by some colleges and universities in admitting students.
Taking either test is optional. These tests will be administered during the school day. All 3rd year and 4th year high school students are eligible to take the test. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this free testing opportunity.
Please see your guidance counselor for more details.
