Math + Literature: A Perfect Pairing
WEBINAR DESCRIPTION
Children’s literature captivates students’ interest and sets a context for engaging learning experiences, but could a single story be used for both mathematics and ELA lessons? Join Sue O’Connell, lead author of the Math by the Book series, to explore ways to use children’s literature to provide a context for K-5 math investigations and to prompt reading/writing tasks. Gather ideas for lessons that support thoughtful learning across content areas.
