Message From Principal Webb
Dear Longhorn families,
We have had an amazing school year.
Thank you for sending your students to Longfellow Elementary. We value your partnership and love your children each day! We hope everyone has a great summer.
I will send a Summer Newsletter in July and in August before school starts!
Reminder to please register your children for school next year! Registration is open and directions are below in the newsletter.
The school building is closed during the summer, however, if you need anything please leave a message on the voicemail or email Mrs. Webb!
Our school is working on a new Facebook/Social Media Page. Please look and follow us on a new page coming soon!!!
Have a WONDERFUL summer, Longhorns!
Principal Webb
Please also note that Ms. Maranda will not be returning to the office next year. Please include Mrs. Webb on communication after the school year ends.
Moving away over the summer?
Please be sure to let the office know if your family plans to move other the summer - whether that be far away or just to another attendance area in the district! Knowing in advance helps us with staffing and class lists preparation.
24/25 Registration
Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that registration for the 2024-25 school year is now open! We encourage you to take this early opportunity to register your students for the next school year.
As a reminder, all families are required to register their students in Infinite Campus each year. Please use the link below to register your child(ren). Remember to select the school year “24-25” to register for next year.
Registration instructions for returning families to the District
Families who need assistance with the registration process may attend on-site registration at their home school which will be held this summer. On-site registration schedules will be shared at a later date.
We thank you for taking the time to register your students early as it helps greatly with our staffing efforts over the spring and summer.
Sincerely,
Matt Degner
Superintendent
Iowa City Community School District
