Principals Message:
It was another outstanding week in our Eagle Nation. As we get closer to the end of the year, there is a lot to recognize and celebrate this week.
- Thank you to everyone for making the second week of AP testing a huge success. The number of CHS students' AP testing keeps growing. Thank you all for supporting our growing college and career-ready school culture.
- CHS Spring Sports are finishing strong. We have several CHS Track Student-athletes who did an outstanding job at OSAA State Finals this week (See Eagle Sports Recap Section below). CHS Spring Sports Teams will be having there end of the year banquets and parties, and there will be even more to recognize next week. Great Job, Eagles!
- Congratulations to our very own Coach Johnson, who was named NWOC Boys Tennis Coach of the Year! Way to go, Coach Johnson. Thank you for all that you do to support our CHS Tennis Program. We are so glad to have you as an Eagle!
- Thank you to our community partners and all our staff who continue to support our students and help give them several exceptional extended learning opportunities. Everyone went above and beyond this week supporting different ELO experiences for our students (See Pictures).
- CHS First People Club Family Night
- Accounting Field Trip to OSU

MERS/CSD Summer Academy - 2024
We had 40+ students attend the first MERS Summer Academy information meeting on Friday. It is an exciting opportunity for CHS scholars who may see themselves serving in the field of education in the future to have a paid internship opportunity supporting CSD district school sites this summer and also be on a track to become a teacher. There is still time to sign up if interested. Contact Kris Dowell for more information.
