Welcome Back to School, Trailblazer Families!

We're thrilled to kick off the new school year with you. This year promises to be full of exciting learning opportunities, growth, and community building. To keep you informed and connected, every Thursday, you'll receive The Trailblazer Times in your inbox and through ParentSquare. This weekly update will provide important news, upcoming events, and all the information you need to stay in the loop.

We have some exciting news to share as we embark on this new chapter together. We are officially Trailblazer Elementary School! Our school mascot is the Eagle, symbolizing strength and soaring potential. Our school colors are black and gold, representing excellence and pride.

Teacher Assignments: Teacher assignments have gone live! You should now be able to see who your child's teacher is for the upcoming school year.

Bus Transportation: If you have requested bus transportation, your assigned bus and bus stop times are available in PowerSchool.

Sneak a Peek: 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Visit your child's classroom, meet their teachers, and drop off supplies.

Grill n' Chill Celebration: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us on the blacktop for food, music, games, and fellowship with our school community. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for a comfortable and enjoyable time! All students will receive a new Trailblazer T-Shirt.

Swag Swap Event:

Collect Clothes: Start gathering clean, gently-worn children's clothing (sizes 4-11) for donation.

Drop Off Donations: Bins will be available outside the gymnasium starting August 5th for clothing drop-offs.

Swag Swap Event: The swap will take place in the gymnasium on Monday, August 12th, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm as part of our back-to-school Grill and Chill event.

First Day of School: Wednesday, August 14th
Our doors will open at 7:40 am, with morning meetings starting promptly at 8:00 am. Please plan to have your children arrive by 7:50 am to ensure they have time to eat breakfast and get ready for the day. Dismissal will start at 2:30 pm.

Please take some time to review our Trailblazer Elementary Family Handbook. This guide covers all things Trailblazer and will help you and your family navigate the school year smoothly.

To provide equitable time for all classes in PE, Music, Art, iSTEM, and Library, we are implementing a rainbow schedule for our Encore classes. This approach addresses the impact of frequent Mondays and Fridays off during the school year, ensuring every class gets the same amount of time in each subject area.

This schedule rotation will ensure that all students have consistent access to their Encore subjects regardless of holiday interruptions.
