Using Zoom

Before you Zoom:

You need to have either

● Zoom desktop client installed on your computer

● Zoom phone app

● Computer with web browser

Joining a Zoom Meeting

1. You can join a meeting by clicking on the meeting link in an email OR typing the 9-digit Meeting ID shared with you on the “Join My Meeting” page on Zoom
2. You will be prompted to download and open Zoom if you haven’t already done so. If you have, you will be prompted to open the meeting in Zoom.
3. If the meeting has a Password, you will be prompted to enter it.
4. Click to join using computer/phone audio
5. Once you are in the meeting, you can click the video button to turn on your video if it is off.

Zoom Controls (Located along the bottom of the screen)

● Mute/Unmute your microphone.

● Camera On/Off - if you are having problems with slow internet turning your camera off can help

● Invite - Presenter can invite more people to the meeting

● Participant List - list of everyone in the meeting. You also have the option to “raise your hand” to signal the presenter

● Share Screen - allows the presenter to share their screen

● Chat- opens the chat window where you can ask questions/see other’s questions or responses

● Record - The presenter can record the meeting

Usando Zoom

Antes de hacer zoom:

Necesita tener cualquiera de los siguientes:

● Cliente de escritorio Zoom instalado en su computadora

● Aplicación de teléfono con Zoom

● Computadora con navegador web

Unirse a una reunión de Zoom

1. Puede unirse a una reunión haciendo clic en el enlace de la reunión en un correo electrónico O escribiendo la ID de la reunión de 9 dígitos compartida con usted en la página "Unirse a mi reunión" (Join My Meeting) en Zoom

2. Se le pedirá que descargue y abra Zoom si aún no lo ha hecho. Si es así, se le pedirá que abra la reunión en Zoom.

3. Si la reunión tiene una contraseña (password), se le pedirá que la ingrese.

4. Haga clic para unirse usando la computadora / audio del teléfono

5. Una vez que esté en la reunión, puede hacer clic en el botón de video para encenderlo si está apagado.

Controles de Zoom (ubicados en la parte inferior de la pantalla)

● Silenciar / activar el micrófono (Mute/Unmute).

● Cámara encendida / apagada (Camera On/Off): si tiene problemas con Internet lento, apagar la cámara puede ayudar

● Invitar (Invite): el presentador puede invitar a más personas a la reunión

● Lista de participantes (Participant List): lista de todos en la reunión. También tiene la opción de "levantar la mano" para señalar al presentador

● Compartir pantalla (Share Screen): permite al presentador compartir su pantalla

● Chat: abre la ventana de chat donde puede hacer preguntas/ver las preguntas o respuestas de otros

● Grabar (Record): el presentador puede grabar la reunión
