Food Drive - Thank you!
Students, Staff, and Community,
Thank you for your generous donations to our Annual Food Drive benefitting the Maltby Food Bank. Over $27,000 was raised to provide, food, heat, electricity and gas for the clients served by the volunteers this year. Additionally two palettes were stacked with crates, and dozens of banana boxes loaded, all filled with food items. It was shared this year that several of our local Food Banks have been hit by thieves, Arlington's Food Bank being completely wiped out, and your donations will assist in supporting those communities as well. Grizzlies are truly mighty when they come together, and once again we have shown that WE ARE GP!
Game Club
Join Game Club on Wednesday, December 20 in a 12-hour gaming session! In room 209, starting right after school and going until 10 p.m., we will be hosting a gaming marathon! There will be board games galore, roleplaying until you drop, video game tournaments, and a Magic the Gathering draft (the newest set: Lost Caverns of Ixilan). There's a PlayStation 5 with the hottest new games. There are complicated board games for seasoned veterans and silly, light party games for those who want to just have a laugh. Or maybe you want to learn Dungeons and Dragons!? Come on in and bring some friends! Let's start the break off right! Pizza and drinks will be served around 6pm. No lunch will be provided.
Here are the costs, all of which can be paid to the bookkeeper:
- Open play + pizza dinner = $10
- Open play + Magic the Gathering Draft = $18
- Open play + Smash Bros. Tournament = $13
- If you can bring your own controllers/Switch, it will make things better. See Mr. Benson for tournament rules details

Community fliers and reminders
PM at the Peak
PM at the Peak is an opportunity for students to get specific support in their classes. It is not simply a ‘study hall’. While students are welcome to use the time to study and work independently, it is designed to provide students an opportunity to ask for, and receive help from teachers on their homework, essays, or use the computers.
- Tuesday and Thursdays
- 2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
