Teacher Appreciation- A Message from PTA

We appreciate our teachers every day, but this week is about really showing them how much they mean to us! Consider sending an email, note, or card from you/your child letting your teacher know how much they are appreciated! In addition, PTA will be providing food and drinks throughout the week. This is where we need your help! Please check the SignUp-Genius for information on food/drink items needed for donation.

Financial donations are also greatly appreciated and will go toward supplying our teachers with all sorts of goodies! You can make a financial donation by sending a check to the school, or you can send it straight to our PTA Paypal Account – eecougarspta@gmail.com

NPS Summer School & Enrichment Camp Options

Looking for summer enrichment or camps for your child? NPS is offering a variety of options! If your child's teacher has contacted you about eligibility for summer school, please be sure to submit the electronic form they sent you or contact them directly for assistance. Summer school information (including special education extended school year services), along with enrichment and camp opportunities can be found through the link below:

Our NPS Summer Enrichment Camps are now open for enrollment! You can enroll your child by visiting our webpage or using the links in the newsletter. Also, the enrichment camp flyers have a description of each camp class. If you have any questions, please call Student Services at 405.366.5844.

As we begin having more volunteer opportunities, student programs, and field trips, please remember to bring in your driver's license or ID. You will need this to scan when you sign in on our visitor system. Thank you for helping keep our school safe!

Library Book Return

It's time to start looking for library books. Check under beds, in cars, and on bookshelves and return books to the library. Students who return all books to the library by May 20 will receive a free bookmark for summer reading! Feel free to contact Mrs. Kreft at juliek@norman.k12.ok.us with any questions.

Change in Student Pick Up?

Watch DOGS

Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) is a program that promotes student engagement with father figures in schools. The program provides positive male role models for students, who volunteer to mentor students, enhance school security, and reduce bullying. Watch DOGS volunteers may serve in a variety of capacities. Depending on their schedule, they volunteer to: assist with morning arrival/dismissal, tutor/mentor students, monitor hallways, help during lunch and recess
