All Vivace singers will arrive in the CHS Choir room on Thursday! We will warm up in the Choir room and head to the Arena to run your number. After your pep rally performance, you can stay for the pep rally or walk back to the Choir room with the directors.

Attire:

• Black Vivace Shirt
• Black leggings or pants
• White shoes
• Be sure to arrive with your hair and make up done

November 8, 2024 (Friday) - Birdville FAAC

• Sectionals/Rehearsals - 2:00pm - 4:00pm
• Singers will be excused from 3rd AND 4th period. Please be sure to take A LUNCH and come to the CHS Choir Room - Please communicate with you 3rd and 4th period teachers regarding missing the class on Friday and how you will be making up any missed work.
• NTH@C & CHS9 singers: LEAVE YOUR 2ND PERIOD EARLY TO CATCH THE SHUTTLE TO CHS. Once you arrive, go to A lunch and come to the Choir room once lunch is over.
• 12:40PM - Take Attendance and load the bus
• 1PM - Depart CHS for Birdville FAAC
• 2PM-4PM - Rehearsal
• 4PM - Depart for CHS
• 5PM Arrive at CHS

November 9, 2024 (Saturday) - Carroll Senior High School FAC

Things to bring: Concert attire in a garment bag or labeled bag, black socks, black shoes, black binder, pencil, and a water bottle.

• 7AM: Arrive in the CHS Choir Room
• 7:10AM - Depart for Carrol Senior High School - WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A BUS SO BE SURE TO PICK UP YOUR SINGER AFTER THE CONCERT.
• 7:50AM - Arrive at Carroll Senior High School
• 8AM - Clinic Begins
• Lunch will be provided - be sure to complete the meal google form sent via studentsquare by 11/5/24 @ 4PM

We are excited to share some fantastic news about our recent 9/10 Honor Choir competition held on Tuesday night at Euless Jr. High School.

Our talented singers truly raised the bar once again, showcasing their hard work and dedication. We are immensely proud of all the singers who competed—they put their hearts into every note!

We are thrilled to announce that an AMAZING 35 singers (about a quarter of the entire choir) earned a chair in the Honor Choir! Their achievements are a testament to their talent and commitment. These outstanding performers will showcase their skills next weekend at Carroll Senior High School, along with the District Mixed Choir and the Region Mixed Choir, on Saturday. We can’t wait to see them shine on stage!

SRF Monthly Quizzes

You will take a monthly SRF quiz at the end of every month. This will be a Performance Tasks

Grade. You only get 2 tries so be sure that your wifi connection is good and your audio sound is

on. You have the entire month to take the quiz. Every month’s quiz will be due on the LAST

FRIDAY of the month at 10PM. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

SRF Practice Log

Each singer is expected to practice sight reading on SRF for 10 minutes per week (2 minutes

each day of the week) and 40 minutes per month. This will be a completion grade. SRF will

keep track of all your practice log data. We will give one Performance Tasks monthly SRF

Practice Log each month. Please be sure to practice SRF weekly. Each week will start on SUNDAY and end on SATURDAY.
