Cele Update
October 28 - November 1
November 17, 2024
Cele Families,
First off, congrats to Cele's UIL One Act Play Team and our Directors - Kinzy Kewley and Cody Beseda - on their 1st place ranking this past Friday and advancing to the finals this weekend. Amazing work!
Our students have one more week before a well-earned break. A reminder that parents can check in on grades through Skyward at anytime via the parent portal, and tutorials are available before and after school each week for all teachers. The schedule is posted on the Cele website, here.
Let's make it a GREAT week, Colts!

Calling for Testimonials!
PfISD is seeking parent, student, and community member testimonials to be shared highlighting some of the great experiences at our campuses. Testimonials may be shared with the greater Cele and PfISD community. We've created a Google form you can use to get started.
Intro to Engineering Donors Choose
Please help us spread the word regarding a Donors Choose project to help us acquire new instructional materials for our Introduction to Engineering course. Ms. Ferrara attended training on using Hummingbird devices this summer and would like to expand on her current collection to reach more students. Here is the Donors Choose link.
PTO Request for Cele Treats
Cele Colts PTO is requesting support. Please consider donating a baked item (homemade or store-bought - your choice!) to be given out to teachers and staff on Friday, November 22nd. These items will be available for them to take home and share with friends and family over the Thanksgiving break.
Geo Force Presentation for 8th grade students
On November 18 our 8th grade students will be treated to a presentation regarding a free UT Science Summer Camp entitled Geo Force. Students will receive information about the opportunity, and parents can learn more by reviewing the attached flyer.
Cele Gives Back
Between now and November 21, there is a grade level competition for canned food collection. Additionally, Cele has partnered with the City of Pflugerville Police Department to collect new toys in original packaging to be given to children in need. Toys may be dropped off in the front office collection bin, and cans may be dropped off by students in the cafeteria each morning.
Early Pick-Up Request
Families, if you will be picking up a student from school after 3:20 pm, which is 15 minutes before school is dismissed, we kindly ask that you call ahead to the front office at 512-594-3000. This will assist us in having students called from class at this busy time of day. Thank you!
Volunteers Needed
We are fortunate to have so many willing and generous members of our community who are willing to volunteer. Please reference the flyer for information on how to apply to be a volunteer, then use the QR code or this link to begin your application.
Accessible Parking
We have had some instances this year when our Accessible Parking spaces were unavailable to our families who need them. While these parking spaces may be convenient to use especially when parking is limited, they are a necessity for some families and guests and must not be used for any amount of time without a legitimate need and properly displayed credentials on the vehicle. Thank you for everyone's cooperation.
Universal Free Breakfast and Lunch Applications
Families,
We encourage you to complete an Application for Free or Reduced-Price lunch. If you qualified last year, you must apply again this year to remain eligible. Read more about the benefits of completing an F&R lunch application.
