A Note From The Principal- Mrs. Kathleen Conover
Dear T.H.I.S. Families-
Well, we are off to a great start! Of course, we've had our hiccups in the pick up/drop off lane but overall, we are running quite smoothly. Thank you for your patience. If you need a vehicle tag/sign, please call our office and we can send one home with your student.
Next, if you would like to work a few hours as a substitute support staffer, we need you! We often have shortages in the recess/lunch aide role, as well as the special education or health aide roles. Hours range from 2-7 hours per day. Please contact Dana Rickert, Secretary at 810-591-3617, for more information. drickert@lakefentonschools.org
Last, if you'd like to be on a parent committee to help plan our fall "Fun Run", please contact me by calling the school or emailing me direct. We will have a combination of teachers, support staff and parents in planning this fun event. kconover@lakefentonschools.org
Proud to be B.L.U.E. (Brave, Loyal, Unstoppable, and Extraordinary)!
Yours in Learning,
Mrs. Kathleen Conover, Principal

The WINN (What I Need Now) Team is comprised of Mrs. Beaudry, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Ferrara, and Mrs. Nickels. Together, they provide additional support in the areas of Reading and Math to all students who qualify. Decisions are based on data from NWEA testing, classroom performance, as well as teacher input. They are excited to begin using the "Bridges Intervention" program this year, which coincides with the Math curriculum classroom teachers are using.
They are also excited to announce that 4th and 5th grade After School Math Club begins next week. While it is currently full, please contact your child's classroom teacher if you are interested in saving a future spot, should one become available. Last, but certainly not least, we would like to welcome Mrs. Jennifer Williams back into our LF Family! Mrs. Williams is a retired 4th grade teacher who has recently re-joined our staff.

Any bus changes must be approved by the principal at least 24 hours in advance. Students are not allowed to take alternative buses home unless their is an emergency situation. Please do not use bus transportation as a means of transporting friends for after school social or extracurricular events. Our buses have capacity limits and we cannot add students to bus routes.
