Congratulations to 9th Grader Jennifer Rivas for winning a Bully Prevention Raffle as a participant in Mrs. Solorio's Advisory Class. Shoutout to Ms. Deadman and the class of 2024!

Deadline for TX Public University Scholarship!

The Texas Public University Scholarship Deadline is rapidly approaching on December 1, 2024. Seniors are welcome to attend our Application workshop!

Scavenger Hunt in Math Classes!

Mr. Wartha's classes participated in a scavenger hunt over the week. This is a great collaboration strategy for students to internalize their work!

NHS 2024 - 2025 Inductees

Congratulations to the BA 2024 - 2025 NHS Inductees. The evening and ceremony was great. Thank you to Jose Rodriguez, Fabio Kalat, Aubry Born, and Norma Negrete for your leadership and support with NHS.

Belles earn all 1s at TDEA Dance Team Assessment

The Belles participated in the TDEA Dance Team Assessment this week and earned a stellar Division I rating from all three judges with scores of 1, 1, 1!

They delivered a truly stunning performance! 💚🔔🙌

Upcoming Events

📸 Picture Day is Coming!

Smile, BA! Picture Day for 9th – 11th graders will take place during Social Studies classes on THIS WEEK - November 19 & 20.

P-TECH students will have a special time scheduled to ensure they don’t miss their college classes.
12th graders are required to take their senior portraits with Logan’s Photography to be included in the yearbook.

Make sure to dress your best (in uniform) and mark your calendars—these photos will last a lifetime!

Our amazing Food & Child Nutrition Services team is bringing the Thanksgiving spirit to campus on Wednesday, November 20th, with a special lunch feast! Let’s gather, give thanks, and enjoy a heartwarming meal that brings our Cougar community together. 🧡

Cornbread stuffing muffins
Green bean casserole
Savory sweet potatoes
Fresh apples & crisscross applesauce 🍎🍏

Creative Writing shirts now on Sale! You can purchase them from room H205 (Mr. Lamb) or from a CW student. Sale ends 11/19!

📚 EOC Retests and ACP Testing Information

Mark your calendars! EOC Retests are scheduled for the week of December 2-6:

English I – Tuesday, 12/3
English II – Wednesday, 12/4
Biology & U.S. History – Thursday, 12/5
Algebra I – Friday, 12/6

In addition, ACP Testing will take place the week of December 16.

Detailed testing schedules will be shared with students and staff before Fall Break on 11/22.

Please plan accordingly and encourage your students to prepare for these important assessments!

8th Grade Pep Rally and Open House - January 2025

Hello BA Families! 🎉

We’re so excited to invite our future Cougars and their families to THREE upcoming events! 🐾 Join us on December 16th from 6PM - 7PM for an 8th grade parent information session. Come and learn all about how Bryan Adams is your #1 choice and the premiere East Dallas neighborhood school!🏫✨💚

January 17th for our 8th Grade Pep Rally 🎺, where you’ll get to experience the incredible BA spirit and see what makes our school community so special! It’s a fantastic chance for future students to feel the energy and pride that make BA unique! Parents are welcome to attend as chaperones for their students. (Must ride the bus and get Voly clearance)💚

Then, don’t miss our BA Open House on January 25th from 10 AM - 12 PM 🏫✨. This event is open to everyone interested in learning more about Bryan Adams High School, our programs, and our supportive community.
