DROP OFF AND PICKUP PROCEDURES
We just want to send out a couple reminders! Please let anyone dropping off or picking up your child know this information, too!
- No left turn out of the parking lot during drop-off and pick-up times. If you need to head south use the roundabout. This allows for our traffic flow to continue at a safe and reasonable pace.
- Parent drop-off and pick up is located in the South Loop. The north loop is for busses and daycares, walkers and bike riders. This allows for the various drop-off times for our daycares and safety of all the walkers and bike riders. Thank you!
- Please follow the flow of traffic with no line jumping.
- If using the drop-off/pick up lanes, please remember you need to stay in your vehicle.
The National School Lunch Program
The National School Lunch Program provides nutritionally balanced, reduced-cost or free meals to children each school day. The program is managed by the USDA. All children in households receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or the Temporary Assistance Program for Needy Families (TANF) can get free meals regardless of their family’s income. Also, children can get free or reduced-price meals if their household income is within the limits on the Federal Income Chart. More information can be found at our district website here: Free & Reduced Meals - West Fargo 6 School District (k12.nd.us)
APPLY ONLINE TODAY: https://www.myschoolapps.com/
Breakfast and Lunch may be paid for with MySchoolBucks, or through the office with check or cash.
Phones and Smartwatches
Phones and Smartwatches
In an effort to create a focused learning environment for all students, students’ phones and smartwatches are not available for their use during the school day. This is to minimize distractions, enhance student engagement, and promote a more effective learning experience for all.
How does this work?
· Students’ phones and smartwatches are not to be used during the school day, including class time and breaks.
· In case you need to contact your child during school hours, we kindly request that you call the school office at 701-356-2190. Our staff will ensure that any urgent messages or notifications are promptly relayed to your child.
We deeply appreciate your support and understanding in this matter. By working together, we can ensure that our students are able to fully focus on their education, enabling them to reach their highest potential.
In case of an emergency for your student
Our school wants to be prepared for your student in case of an emergency. If your student has a diagnosis of asthma, severe allergy, seizure disorder and any underlying condition which would require emergency intervention, please contact our school nurse. We request all prescribed medication such as inhalers, Epi Pens or any other emergency medication be brought to our school office so we may respond if your student should need emergency help.
Please contact Rachael Pederson RN, CPN
POP IT AND DROP IT!
Pull the tab off of any aluminum can and bring them into Osgood and pour them into the container in the south entryway.

PTO Meeting
Please mark your calendars for our first PTO meeting of the year! It will be held on Thursday, September 5 at 6:30 in the Osgood Library! Free childcare available.
- Consider running for President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer. We will vote on this September 5!
- Help brainstorm ways to make Osgood the best school ever!
- Can't wait to see you there!
Ways to Help Support the PTO
Here are some ways you can help support the PTO:
If you get gas or shop at Casey's, you can help Osgood by donating your rewards to our school. When redeeming your points, you have the option to choose a school (Osgood) and then the school receives the funds that are collected.
DO YOU HAVE THE BOX TOPS APP?
If not, it would be a great idea to do so. Instead of cutting out Box Tops, you now can just scan your receipt on the Box Tops app. Then choose your school, Osgood! It is as easy as that!
