Harrington Happenings
March 17
Happy St. Patrick's Day Harrington Families!
I hope everyone had a nice weekend, the weather felt like Spring which was very nice. Mother nature did us a favor and held off the rain yesterday until the evening. As we enter the middle of March, the students continue to work very hard. Our mid-term assessments showed excellent mid year growth, with the expectation that the final assessment will show students on their respective grade level.
As we move towards the Spring, I want to thank everyone for providing your students with snow gear for recess. We want all students to be able to enjoy recess each and every day. Also, I'd like to thank the PTO for a wonderful assembly last week. The staff and students loved Newhouse Wildlife Rescue. On Saturday, the PTO held a special persons/glow dance. It made me happy to see the students all dressed up for this event with their special person. The PTO put on a great event, and by all accounts the students loved the event.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we can make this school year a great one.
Once again, remember to…"Stay Respectful, Stay Responsible, Stay Ready... Embrace the challenges, learn from mistakes, and have fun"
Be safe! Stay well!

From your HPTO:We had such a fun and busy week!
Newhouse Wildlife Rescue visited our students on Tuesday, March 11 as part of a PTO-sponsored enrichment program. Our students learned all about local wildlife, what to do if they encounter an injured wild animal, and the important role Newhouse plays in our community! Nibi and Stanley even came out to have a snack and see the kids! Visit https://newhousewildliferescue.org/ to learn about how you can support Newhouse!
We would also like to thank all of the students and their special guests who came out last night, Saturday, March 15 to our Glow Dance! Everyone enjoyed a night out with family and friends. Thank you so much to our volunteers (especially CHS students who once again came through to help)!
