Riverview Report

Happy Spring! I am looking forward to more sunshine and warmer weather as we head into April. Speaking of Spring, we have so many fun and exciting things happening over the next few months. With field trips, track meets, and some fun assemblies. I am so proud of our students and how hard they work to achieve their academic goals. End of year testing is about to start and I know our students will be amazing!

I have included information below about registration for the 24-25 school year. All kindergarten and returning Nebo students will be able to start registering on April 8, 2024. All new to Nebo students will be able to start registering on April 22, 2024.

We will be holding our annual Penny Race fundraiser Tuesday, April 9th - Friday, April 12th. We will be raising funds to offer scholarship money to SFHS graduating seniors that attended Riverview Elementary for at least 3 years. Students are encouraged to bring their change to school. We are changing the rules up a little bit this year and making it a "race" instead of a "war". Students will put all pennies, silver, and dollars in their own class bucket. All money donated from students in their class will go TOWARD their class total points. The class with the highest score will earn a pizza party. We love being able to do this fundraiser that directly serves our Riverview Alumni. Thank you for all of your donations!

We are excited about our upcoming track meets for 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade. They will be held at Spanish Fork High School Track. The dates are:

3rd Grade: 4/23

4th Grade: 4/25

5th Grade: 4/30

Make-up Day if needed: 5/2

Your child's teacher will be sending out more detailed information. We are also always looking for parent volunteers. The track meets can't go on without enough volunteers. If you are able to help out, please let your child's teacher know. Thank you!
