SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!
I hope you are all enjoying the summer so far!
June flew by with so many exciting end of the year field trips and activities. The 8th grade trip to Philadelphia was a huge success. Field trips were fun for all grades. Students in grade 5 went to Duxbury Beach, grade 6 went bowling, grade 7 went to Rexhame Beach and grade 8 went to Treetop Adventures. On June 10,, fourth graders came to the middle school for a tour and presentations with representatives from the student government council. The exceptional History Fair on June 11 highlighted student work from grades 5 through 8. This event is the culmination of months of hard work. Shout out to lead teacher Ms. Costello and the history teachers at all levels for making this impressive night happen. The 8th grade semi-formal and step-up ceremony were fitting endings for the class of 2028! See photos for highlights.

FINAL THOUGHTS
This is my final newsletter as the principal of Rogers Middle School. I wish to thank you all for entrusting your students' education and safety to me. It has been a privilege to work with you and your children and to watch them learn and grow. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work alongside the exceptional teachers and staff at RMS. Best wishes to Principal Rich MacAllister as he transitions into his new role. Your children are in great hands!
Wishing you all a happy and safe summer!
Respectfully yours,
Cheryl Schipper
