Jaguars of the Week!
Congratulations Layla Hart and Nolan Donahue!
Layla's initiative and commitment to excellence make them an outstanding role model and a valued member of our classroom community. Fantastic job Layla!
Nolan is always a kind and helpful student. He is the first to respond to quietly help out another without looking for anything in return. His kindness and respect towards others makes him a perfect example of a kind, hardworking, aware, respectful and helpful friend and student. Great job Nolan!
Both students received Sky Zone cards!
Term 1 Honors Celebration
PSHS seniors Noah Brilliant, Mia DiBiaso, and Lilly Morse offered our students good advice on how to make the most of their school experience.
Wondering why there weren't individual awards given?
We have decided to remove this portion of the honors breakfast celebration. However, new this year, we will have awards nights for sixth and seventh grade students who are nominated for an award. Additionally, awards for nominated eighth graders will be given as part of the promotion assembly. As a staff, we are working on award categories and criteria that acknowledge and celebrate our students' success in a variety of categories.
December Spirit Days
Students wore blue on Thursday, November 14th for World Diabetes Day. The purpose of this day is to bring global awareness and focus on diabetes well-being.

8th Grade Trip to Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate
This week, 3rd-floor 8th-graders braved the snow and went on a field trip to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. Students got to work, passing legislation! They tackled the important and current topic of Voting Reform. The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate actively inspires all Americans to keep our democracy and civic life vibrant, educates the public about the unique role of the Senate in our government, and promotes civil discourse to drive bipartisan solutions for our nation’s challenges. The students did an amazing job!
