EJMS Families,

We hope everyone had a good week. Friday, November 15th marked midterm of the 2nd nine weeks and grade reports will be available in Infinite Campus on Friday, November 22nd.

Individual Learning Plans

The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) mandates that all students in grades 6-12 complete their Individual Learning Plan (ILP) each year. Jessamine County Schools uses Major Clarity as the main platform used to achieve this goal. Each year, students are required to reach 100% completion for that school year’s ILP tasks. Major Clarity offers a wealth of information to help your student learn and explore information related to personality traits and learning styles as they may relate to future employment opportunities, along with details regarding career paths and occupations. Students this year will work on their ILPs via Writing or Math Concepts classes, and Core Connections classes (depending on their schedules). We encourage you to explore the attached information and ask your student to log into their Major Clarity account (via Clever) so they can show you what they have been working on this year. Feel free to reach out to your student’s grade level counselor for more information.
