Happy Thanksgiving,
Your Admin Team
Congratulations Mrs. Lorigan and the Music Department!
A huge congratulations to Emma Lin and Mika Hirshberg. They were selected to represent Ida Price for the California Music Educators Bay Section conference Honor band. They were chosen from middle schools in The Bay Section region which stretches from Hollister to Healdsburg to Modesto.
Extra special congratulations to Andrew Metcalfe for earning a spot in the California All-state honor band. Andrew was one of eight students selected from more than 100 auditions submitted by Middle School French Horn players from across the state of California. He will represent Ida Price at the California All State Music Educators conference in Sacramento in January. Way to go Andrew and congratulations to our wonderful Ida Price musicians.

NJHS Holiday Toy Drive
Let’s celebrate the season of giving by donating new, unwrapped toys for children in need. Donations will be accepted through December 13th. Donation boxes are located in the office, library, and rooms 9, 10, 15, 23. All toys will be donated to Toys For Tots. Let’s put a smile on children’s faces this holiday season by showing our generosity to disadvantaged children in our community. We can do this Price Panthers! Thank you for all your generous donations.
December Menu
Cambrian School District is pleased to offer all students complimentary breakfast and lunch meals. Meals will be available for pickup in the cafeteria during scheduled meal periods. Please consider taking advantage of our FREE school meals by clicking here and signing up. It extends your grocery budget, saves time planning and preparing meals, and is comforting and familiar for kids to have school meals. In addition, every meal served is reimbursed by the USDA and funds go toward Child Nutrition staff wages. Please note that you are not taking food away from someone who needs it more – we have plenty to go around!
There's still time to give....
SAFETY FIRST
Thank you to everyone for continuing to help keep all of our students safe on their way to and home from school. Just as a reminder to continue to follow all of the parking lot safety measures to ensure all of our students and families are safe.
Coming Soon .....

Registration Opens December 6. Rehearsals start on January 21.

Attendance is critical to student success!
Did you know...
- By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school.
- By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
ATTENDANCE TIPS
• Talk about the importance of showing up to school every day.
• Help your children maintain daily routines, such as finishing homework and getting a good night’s sleep.
• Try not to schedule dental and non-urgent related medical appointments during the school day.
• Keep your student healthy, and if you are concerned about Covid-19, call your school for advice.
• If your children must stay home because they are sick, make sure they have asked teachers for resources and materials to make up for the missed learning time in the classroom.
