Thank you to everyone who submitted receipts for the School Cents Program! Thanks to your participation, Emerson placed 21st and earned a check for $600. We’re proud of this accomplishment and look forward to climbing even higher next year!

Congratulations to all those who participated in the LBUSD 4th/5th Mile Race last Friday. We are so proud of you for participating in the this amazing event. Our very own Ethan Scaccianoce and Jack Davis ranked in the top 20 boys race. Jack went on to place 3rd out of all the schools in their grade.

Dear Families,

Students are more than welcome to ride their bikes or scooters to school! It’s a great way to stay active and enjoy the fresh air. However, we want to ensure everyone stays safe, so here are a few important reminders:

✔️ Walk your bike or scooter when entering and leaving campus.
✔️ Park bikes and scooters at the bike racks located at our front entrance on Josie Ave.
✔️ Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic safety rules.

Safety concern: Student should never be crossing the street outside of the crosswalk, through other cars, in the middle of the street. Please don't ask your students to run across, through cars, as this is extremely unsafe. Near the gate on Willow, more parents are driving the wrong way on the one way street off of Willow, please adhere to all parking and directional signs at all times. Cars that are being left unattended in the middle of the street can cause traffic to back up and possible accidents. 🛑Please do not park in the bus loading zone or in red zone, or turn your hazards on and leave your car double parked and unattended with/without other children inside. Safety is our utmost concern, and we thank you in advance for making sure we keep everyone safe and ticket free. Our school neighbors have kindly asked that we remind parents to NOT block their driveways when dropping off and picking up, OR, leave any children in their cars unattended while walking to drop off other siblings to the school campus.

We love seeing you walk your pets to school with your student(s) but we have a few reminders.

• Pets are not allowed on campus in the walkways leading to gates and beyond
• Please do not allow students to pet your pet
• Please clean up after your pet.

*** TK and Kinder will follow a minimum day schedule for the first 3 weeks of school. All TK and Kinder students will attend school from 9:00-2:00!!! This will be from 08/27/24 - 09/13/24.
