LAMBERT

Dear Longhorn Families,
Happy 2025! I hope all of our families enjoyed a wonderful and restful break!
January is registration season at Lambert. You'll see several Advisement Schedule days on the calendar; many of these will be devoted to walking your student through the registration process. Please see the section below devoted to detailed information about course registration. We encourage all families to preview our Course Registration Website and have open discussions with your student(s) about course selection. Please carefully consider individual interests, skill level, extracurriculars, goals, and balance/wellness.
We are looking forward to a great second half of the school year!
Sincerely,
Amanda Thrower
Principal

FINDING NEMO JR AT THE FOCAL CENTER
FoCAL Center is proud to announce this year’s Penguin Project production of Disney’s The Lion King Jr. Based on the 1994 Disney animated feature film of the same name, The Lion King Jr. is the story of Simba, an adventurous and energetic lion cub who is next in line to be king. Featuring classic songs from the film such as “Circle of Life”, “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”, “Hakuna Matata”, and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”. The Lion King Jr. is a story about identity, family, and responsibility that is sure to be a hit with people of all ages.
Penguin Project productions are junior (abbreviated) musicals cast by actors, or as we call them “artists”, with special needs. Penguin artists are paired with typical peers/mentors during all rehearsals and performances. All Penguin Project artists are high school students from Forsyth County Schools.
We would be honored if you could attend one of the shows - purchase your ticket today!
