Culvert Celebration!
Thank you to Tyonek Tribal Conservation District for the opportunity to celebrate the Tyonek Culvert Blessing. Our kiddos had so much fun learning about the largest culvert structure in Alaska, salmon conservation, local kriiters, and did their fishy parade! We value your partnership and can't wait for upcoming events like hydroponics, and Salmon in the Classroom this school year!!
Dena'ina class with Ms. Edna has been so impactful for our students. We're learning introductions, songs, counting, and more to enhance our understanding of Dena'ina. Thank you to Tebughna Foundation for continuing this tradition, and check them out on Youtube.com.
In our ongoing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff, we want to inform you about our KPBSD Symptom-Free Protocol. This protocol is designed to create a safer environment for everyone by minimizing the risk of the spread of illnesses. We kindly request that you ensure your child is symptom-free before sending them to school each day. This includes checking for common symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious illness, we strongly encourage you to keep them at home, and consult with the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as the collective efforts of our school community are crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Remindar to parents and guardians to please update your child(ren)'s information and permissions or new/ returning students for the 2024-2025 school year! Please follow this link to update:-)

This service provides users the opportunity to leave a message or speak with a live crisis counselor for immediate needs. The helpline is administered by an independent, outside company.
