Senior Scholars
Cascade High School National Honor Society and the Mill Creek Optimist Club recognized our Senior Scholars on April 11, 2024 at the Memories Barn. These top academic seniors have worked incredibly hard to rise to the top of a talented academic class. Each Senior Scholar invited an Influential Educator to the program and shared why that educator was important to their growth and the impact that was made on them. Thank you to the Mill Creek Optimist Club for sponsoring this incredible program that honors our top academic seniors and their influential educators. Thank you to National Honor Society sponsor Caleb Eldridge and to Emily Morris and Jack Nichols for organizing this wonderful evening.

The final student day for the 2023-2024 school year is Wednesday, May 29th. Students in grades 9-11 will be keeping their Chromebooks, cases, and chargers over the summer and will return with those items for the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. Seniors will need to turn in Chromebooks, cases, and chargers to the technology department when they have completed their work for this school year. We look forward to the final weeks of the 2023-2024 school year.

We look forward to celebrating our students at the Night of Awards.
Retirements
Cascade High School recognizes and thanks Mrs. Gruener and Mr. McCoy for their many years of teaching and positively impacting students at Cascade High School. Mrs. Gruener is retiring after 41 years of serving as the Media Specialist for Mill Creek Community Schools and has served in several buildings in the corporation over those 41 years. Mr. McCoy is retiring after serving 39 years as the Director of Instrumental Music, with the last 34 years here at Cascade High School. We wish them both happiness in their retirements. They have both made incredibly positive impacts on the lives of thousands of students over the course of their careers. I am also retiring at the end of the school year after 31 years in teaching and administration. I have been blessed to serve as the Principal of Mill Creek East Elementary, and at Cascade High School as the Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and Principal over the past 18 years. We have wonderful schools that are made that way by great students and amazing teachers and staff members. It has been my honor to be a part of the Cascade Family.
