Dear Dolvin Families,

I hope that everyone made it through the storm last week unscathed and you were able to enjoy an extra day off. We have just one more week of school before getting a much needed 5 day weekend for students and a 4 day weekend for staff. We also have the book fair coming up, below is more information about that from Mrs. Culbertson. A lot to look forward too!

Important Things to Know:

• Our Book Fair vendor is Bedford Falls, not Scholastic. We are very excited to partner with a new vendor this year!!

• Volunteer opportunities (via SignUp Genius) will be coming soon.

• Parents can buy "KidCredit" before and during the fair, which gives students money online for shopping. Please see attached English and Spanish flyers about KidCredit.

• Parents can also donate money to the Dolvin Media Center or a specific teacher through the KidCredit website.

• Students will receive flyers prior to the fair's arrival. All students will have a chance to shop in the Book Fair through their Media Center and/or Discovery Lab special that week.

Happy October from the Dolvin Foundation!! As we start a new and festive month, we wanted to thank all the donors who really showed up last month during our Direct Giving Campaign. With your generosity, we met and exceeded our goal to kick off this school year - THANK YOU!

We loved celebrating with all our “Diligent Dolphin" students on September 20th at the Principal's Playground Ice Cream Party. And thanks once again to our amazing sponsors for helping provide Spirit Shirts for the entire school!
