Luce Special Smore

Dear Luce Caregivers,

I hope the summer has been going well for you and your family. Please see the brief updates on all things Luce to keep you in the loop.

• Kindergarten playground meet ups (on the Luce Lower Playground) on:
• Thursday, August 22nd from 3:30 - 4:30pm
• Monday, August 26th from 5 - 6pm
• The Kindergarten Welcome Deck is available for new K families below.
• For our new families, we have added a new family deck Voiceover to orient you to our school community
• The Summer Reading List is attached for any parent who may need it.

• The Luce is hosting Canton Academy and it is their 20th year anniversary!

• We are hiring a 4th grade long term substitute and two school aides to support lunch and recess. If you know of anyone interested please have them email me at lamoury@cantonma.org

• Please see the upcoming events to learn more about Open Houses for K-5.

• The Luce will have an election for two parent school council seats in September. Please email me at lamoury@cantonma.org if you are interested.

• Be on the lookout for information on PowerSchool from Josh Fogel.

• Please email me a picture of a fond summer memory and I will feature it in the welcome back Smore.
