Several of our 8th grade students, on behalf of the entire grade, delivered donated items to the Charlotte Hall Veterans home late last week. The students did an incredible job collecting much needed supplies and donations for the veterans. A special thank you to all of our students and their families for their participation in this worthy project.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Reardon and I am thrilled to be your child's Career Counselor. I will be working with them in the classroom and at lunch time to discuss not only different career opportunities but what makes a specific career right for a specific person. As a way of introducing myself, I created a Family Job Tree, it goes back multiple generations and looks at my family's education and jobs. I encourage the students to swing by the counseling suite to see the tree and pick up their own Family Job Tree worksheet. The holidays often afford us opportunities to see and talk with relatives and this worksheet is a great conversation starter.
