Early Dismissal and Spring Break
Students will be dismissed early on Friday April 4th at 1:05pm. Spring Break is from Monday, April 7th through Friday April 11th. Classes will resume Monday April 14th 2025.
Needs Assessment
Each year, the School Site Council approved the Single Plan for Student Achievement to guide the school budget for the year. Please complete the attached survey to help us develop our plan.

No Cell Phones at School
Cell Phone usage is not allowed at all during the school day.
If students need to use their cellphones they are to request permission from teachers to use the phone in the main office. Students using cell phones will have them confiscated and returned at the end of the day on the first offense. Every time thereafter, parents will be called to pick it up.

Shrek Jr. - April 18th at the Ahmanson Theater in Downtown Los Angeles
Students from Altadena Arts and Eliot Arts Magnet will perform a one night only benefit production of Shrek the Musical, JR at the Ahmanson theater on April 18th at 7pm. This heartwarming event comes after the heartbreak the students experienced after the Eaton Fire that burned the Auditorium, practice space along with much else at Eliot Arts. Proceeds from the performances will go towards rebuilding the arts programs at both schools. More tickets will be made available on Wednesday March 19th.
Summer at PCC NorthWest
PCC will be offering a number of Dual enrollment courses for Pasadena Unified Students at John Muir High School this summer. Contact Mr. Simmons for information and course descriptions. Use the QR code to sign up for classes before they fill up!
Summer Conservatory at Eliot
Eliot will offer a summer conservatory at our temporary campus here at 325 Oak Knoll this summer. Classes are available for any PUSD student currently in grades 4-7.
