EFES September Newsletter

EFES is so excited to welcome back all of our students for the 2024-2025 school year! Our staff is committed to providing an outstanding learning experience for all our students as we "inspire growth by achieving excellence!"As we work together during the year, the staff encourages you to let us know how you and your child/children are experiencing school. Through open communication, teamwork and dedication, we promise this to be a rewarding and enjoyable school year for the children.

At Elephant's Fork Elementary School we want all students to be successful. In order to ensure that students find success, Suffolk Public Schools has implemented the PBIS (Positive Behavorial Intervention Systems) system of best practices for supporting student behavior throughout the school day. We expect all of our students to

Here at Elephant's Fork, we are working especially hard during these first weeks of school to teach our expectations and acknowledge positive behavior when we see it. In this way, we know we are laying the foundation for a productive and positive school year.

September 9, 12, 13th- Grandparents Week (Grandparents can come eat lunch with their student. Lunch will not be provided)

September 10th- Reading Growth Assessment Grades 3-5

September 12th-Open House/PTA Meeting 6:00-7:30pm

September 17th- Math Growth Assessment Grades 3-5

September 27th- Interim Reports Distributed

October 3rd- Student Early Release-Staff Professional Development Day
