The Lincoln Lowdown- 6/3/2024

June 3rd-June7th
We're headed towards the finish line!
Lincoln Families,
As we enter the final stretch of this school year, I wanted to take a moment to encourage and motivate our students to finish strong. With only 8 days left, now is the time to give that extra push and make the most of every moment.
We have seen incredible growth and achievements from our students this year, and we are so proud of their hard work and dedication. Let's keep that momentum going! Here are a few tips to help our students stay focused and finish the year on a high note:
- Stay Organized: Keep track of assignments, tests, and deadlines. A planner or calendar can be a great tool to manage your time effectively.
- Ask for Help: If you're struggling with any subject, don't hesitate to reach out to your teachers or classmates. We are all here to support each other.
- Take Care of Yourself: Remember to balance your studies with self-care. Get plenty of rest, eat well, and take breaks when needed.
- Stay Positive: Keep a positive mindset and believe in your ability to succeed. Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small.
Parents and guardians, your support is invaluable. Encourage your children to stay focused, help them create a conducive study environment, and remind them how proud you are of their efforts.
Let's make these last 8 days count and finish the school year on a high note! Together, we can achieve great things.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community.

Place of Birth: Cherrypoint, North Carolina
Years at Lincoln: 24
Favorite Educator: Mrs. Ashby, my 4th grade teacher, made learning so much fun. She taught us to be organized, love math and showed how combining baking soda and vinegar in a balloon-covered bottle can fill the balloon with gas. What the what! I've loved science ever since.
Fun Fact: Christian, my brother, was a third grader in Mrs. Ashby's 3/4 combo class. He's the best.
