Advanced Rep Show
Don’t miss the BVW Advanced Repertory Theatre class’s production of Our Town by Thornton Wilder, a timeless American classic that celebrates the beauty of everyday life. This heartwarming and thought-provoking play captures the universal experiences of love, loss, and community in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners. With poignant storytelling and remarkable performances by the Advanced Rep Theatre students, under the direction of senior Lance Carter, this production promises to be a night to remember. Join us on Friday, December 13 or Saturday, December 14, at 7:00 pm in the intimate setting of the BVW Little Theater. Tickets are just $10 and are available for purchase here. Don’t miss the chance to witness this masterful work come to life on stage and thank you for your support of BVW Theatre!
Student Drop-Off Reminder
The only designated drop off location for students is in the front loop outside the main entrance. Do not drop off students in the back of the building or in student parking lots.

This important message is for any family or staff that will travel out of the United States during the school year. Nurse Beth Erickson needs help during the Hearing and Vision Testing on Monday, Dec 9th from 7:30-11:30am. Sophomores are going to be tested and our job will be to support Nurse Beth with crowd control in both the Vision Lab and the Hearing Test area. Thank you for your support! Sign up Here

The Staff Appreciation Committee is planning to treat our WONDERFUL BVW Staff. Please consider making a donation to help fund this holiday treat/thank you to staff members by December 13th. You can either make a monetary donation or bring in a $10 gift card from a specific store to the office. Place the gift cards in an envelope marked: PTO Staff Appreciation.

Seal of Biliteracy for Seniors
Seniors received information about the opportunity to earn the Seal of Biliteracy via email communication during the week of November 18. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please review the Seal of Biliteracy website for detailed information.
If you would like to participate, the Seal of Biliteracy Student Intent Form must be submitted by the end of day Friday, Dec 20, 2024.
Cap and Gown Orders - Due Now!
If you are walking at Graduation, get your order in now to make sure you have a Cap and Gown come May. Order Today!
Graduation Date
Graduations will be held at the Blue Valley West High School Football Stadium, referred to as ANTDAC (Antioch District Athletic Complex) located at 162nd and Antioch.
The schools affected by inclement weather will move inside to the BVW Gymnasium at their regularly scheduled time.
BVW graduation will be at 7:00pm on May 18
Senior Fees
Parents of seniors are asked to contribute a $40 fee toward their senior activity fund and annual senior class gift that is donated to the school.
Senior Fees help to offset graduation celebration and rehearsal activities that happen throughout the year. Help us make our seniors' final year a great one! Pay Senior Fee now.

Career Ready and Dual Degree Programs - Info Nights
The Career Ready Programs department is offering several exciting opportunities for Blue Valley students to earn college credit at little to NO cost to families through Johnson County Community College (JCCC).
The information shared at these sessions will be most relevant for current sophomore and junior students and parents/guardians. We invite you to attend one or more of our community-wide family informational sessions in January. We encourage parents/guardians/students to all attend.
