A Special Visit From Lincolnshire’s Finest
Kindergarten is always filled with new adventures, and a surprise visit from the local police department was no exception. Officer Dana Plotke stopped by Heather Lapin’s class to talk with students and answer their many curious questions. The most exciting one? “Is your police car at school?” quickly followed by, “Can we see it?” The officer didn’t just say yes—she invited students to climb inside and take a turn behind the wheel, giving them a real officer’s-eye view of the Village of Lincolnshire.

Register Now: Returning Students
- During registration, Sprague parents can select if they would like to be a mentor or if they would like an opportunity to be a mentee next year. The goal of our mentoring program is to foster a community where individuals can connect, share their experiences, and learn from one another. By bringing together those individuals who are willing to share their knowledge and those individuals eager to learn, we create an environment of mutual growth, support, and meaningful connections.
- Please reach out to your child's school if you have questions about registration or email
PowerSchool@d103.org. - If your family is moving and not planning to return to District 103, kindly let your child’s school office know about your plans so that we do not bother you about registration and place your child in a 2025-2026 classroom.

Each year, the PTO proudly recognizes a dedicated volunteer who embodies the spirit and commitment of Dawn Anderson, a long-time champion of District 103, the D103 PTO, and our community.
We now carry on her legacy by honoring a volunteer who demonstrates this same dedication to our schools and students.
Nominees must meet the following:

- Consistently volunteered throughout their child(ren)’s time at D103 schools.
- Made a meaningful, lasting impact on the educational experience of D103 students.
- May be a visible leader of PTO events or a quiet, reliable supporter always willing to step in.
- Like Dawn, this individual should have an infectious volunteer spirit.
The deadline to nominate a volunteer is Sunday, May 4. The winner of this award will be announced at the eighth-grade graduation ceremony.
